How the average person is doused in pain, and set alight by grinding a blunt fork up and down your elbow. Life is miserable, so lets take it out on a blog.

The American Elections

Now this is something that is (or should be) on every single person's mind, from Arkensas to Armenia, Kent to Kuala Lumpur.

But for a democratic country, the American elections are truly a farce! Already, 1000s of lawyers are on standby for both sides to challenge any spurious results, and the challenges have already started. There is no country on the planet that I'm aware of that has such suspicion about votes.

People like "Mary Poppins" and "Obi-wan Kenobi" have registered for the American results, and it's out of control. In the UK, yes, there may be a few odd names, but the results are never challenged, because we know and trust enough to be able to vote fairly and properly. The people in America who are faking votes are dumb and gay. Don't the realise that their arsemunchiness will actually have an effect on my life in Northern Ireland (Bush didn't do very much for us, and maintain the very strong links we have with America, it was all done with Tony Blair).

As to personal preference, I'd honestly prefer Kerry. I think Bush has been very strong handed with everything, causing a lot of problems for everyone. Iraq didn't have WMD, and no-one has the right to go into a country for regieme change. Sure, I agree that everyone has a right to be free, and have some say in who represents their country, but they should also have a right to say "No Mr Bush, we don't want your help".

I can't say Kerry will be a great president. He definately has his flaws, but he seems to suport America's reintergration into the world.

In any case, the American elections suck. If you're American, please consider your vote affects my life, not just yours.
